Isabel, your English is probably much better than my German. A cluster means a small group or bunch of something. So instrument cluster means the dash ( Speedometer/Tachometer/Fuel and Temperature gauges etc).

^She's right.
The red is in the TypeS in UK, Germany and other European countries. I like them personally, the red ambient lights on the other hand is not my taste which is why I have the blue ones in the centre console and rear.

^Kids keeping you up at night, Tech? Rarely see you post that late.
Thanks for the photos, Isi. I've always liked red as a color, but not as a dash color (not a fan of BMW's dash, for example). But this one looks nice. What's that up/down thing? Is that like in Gran Turismo when they remind you to shift?

^Sleep is optional when you have kids
The Up Down is probably for improved fuel economy, telling you to shift early. Kind of oxymoron on a Type S model.

" Manual models feature a ‘Shift Indicator Light’ or SIL which appears in the center of the rev counter. ‘UP’ or ‘DOWN’ are displayed to advise the driver of the optimum point (in terms of best fuel economy) at which to change gear; Honda tests have demonstrated fuel savings of as much as 5 per cent simply by following these commands."

Yeah, that is pretty crazy, 963km = 598 miles. I'm not 100% sure but I don't think I've ever broken 500 miles on a full tank. Will have to check at next fill up.

Gets bored easily
I filled up before a 2.5 hr highway trip, cruise set at 75-80mph, and my "minder" said I'd get well over 500 miles on that tank.

I would think the 2.2L iDTEC engine is much more fuel efficient than the US 2.4L gasoline engine. But getting over 500mi to a tank in our cars seem possible if you're averaging 29mpg+. plus, the gas tank is huge at 18.5 gallons.

If I had one week of no traffic (which will never happen - lol!) I could easily get over 500 miles to a tank. There are times after I've had a few good days of minimal traffic that I could get 550+ when I add the range left and the miles I've traveled so far. Unfortunately, then I have a day where it takes me 2 hours to get to work in brutal stop and go traffic and my mpg is shot to hell. I'm still hoping that i'll get one week where I get to see 500+ on a tank.

I only get 450 on 28mpg some times 25...lol
