DST and the interior/dash/nav lights...

So....... with the whole DST thing passing recently, I noticed that even though it gets dark around 5pm here, the car still thinks it is daytime and run the map/screen colors as if it is daytime.

Not a real problem, but just something I noticed today. Anyone else noticed it too?

u have a 2011?

My 09 switches colors based on the light that hits the sensor afaik. When i enter tunnels it switches to night mode temporarily and flips back to day once im out.

You can also manually swap it by pressing the moon button

Do you have your headlights set to "Auto"? If you do then it should detect the light and adjust accordingly. If it is set to Auto and it doesn't seem to be working then maybe your light sensor is faulty? Might have to go get it repaired?

I have a 2011 and I set my lights to Auto.

My exterior lights on Auto work fine though....

I'm wondering if maybe it is because I put my brightness to max via the dial near the gauges.

I believe you're right KG. If the brightness is set to max, it'll always be the daytime screen.
