Driving impression 2010 TSX

Thought I'd drop by and give props to you TSX lovers. Took my 06 Tl in for servicing and they gave me a 2010 TSX loaner with the 201hp i4...whoa what a hoot! There's one G35 out there (you know who you are) wondering what just flew past him. Great car...spunky acceleration and I actually enjoyed using the paddle shifters...about 5000rpm this motor really sounds nice. A really super car

Got the V6 tech with 8 miles on it as a loaner yesterday...I don't want to give it back. If only it was available with the 6 speed and a little cheaper. Man does it move...

We got a loaner TSX but I think it was a 2009. It WAS the 2nd gen. I really liked the K24 a lot, the power and sound were great A little weak off idle (obviously) but it was a great 4 cyl. Definitely more punch than my R18 .

I know the TSX got a steering recalibration.. but I don’t remember what year. All I know is the handling on the TSX was awfully vague, I was really surprised. Not 07 Camry vague, not 09 Civic quick, not 02 TL-S heavy/precise. Maybe my expectations were high? I just didn’t like the handling much at all but the engine was nice. Give it to me with the 6 spd tranny and that would be a great car!

I took my 97 cl 3.0 in for servicing Monday, They gave me a 09 TSX 5AT, I'm in love now. And now I'm considering trading in my cl in Feb and buying a TSX for my birthday, just gotta test out the 6 speed, whichIi will probably test when I go pick up my car in a few hours.

With the TSX, I think you need to distinguish between handling dynamics and steering feel. The handling capabilities are excellent. It's agile, and has minimal body roll, which translate into great manners on twisty back roads, especially for a FWD sedan. In this respect, I think it's comparable to a non-sport package BMW 328i, possibly even tighter.

The steering, however, could use more feedback, and is especially numb on center though mine seems to have improved after some break-in. Off center, the feel improves considerably, which contributes to the good back road manners.

You guys really think the V6 is quick. I've driven it a few times and have been nothing but let down. For some reason, the butt dyno says the 2wd TL is quicker, maybe it's me. The TL Type-S wasn't too bad though, rated at 280 but felt like more.

i have a 08 tsx, and my wife and i drove the 09 tsx. its a totally different car. i didn't mind the steering, not near as firm as my 08. the car is huge compared to ours. that being said we got our car because it was so much different then anything else out there. the new tsx to me felt more like the altima, but a lot nicer for sure. liked how much more quiet it was!! car felt so much slower also, prolly again because of the size.

anyway i really like the looks of it compared to ours too! seems more agressive.

we also drove the new not so good looking tl. WOW now that car is big, fast, and so so quiet!!! interior is so nice a perfect!!! i just don't care for that styling... it is growing on me, but i don't know.

One thing is for sure our TSX is a great car at a great value. we have bout 50k miles on it and just oil changes, tire rotations and filters. been nothing but great
