Door panel removal on 09's

Hi guys, I need to remove the driver's side door panel and need help on how to do it.

I found some instructions in this forum but not only I had difficulty understanding them (never have done this before), none of those instructions were for second gen TSX.

I was wondering if any of you have removed the door panel on your 09' TSX and if so can you tell me how to do it? Would it be fairly easy to do for noobs like me?

Thanks a lot in advance.

Should be easy - I have a 1st gen. Probably need to remove the screws in the door handle (at least 2 I would guess). They would be found under the trim pieces on the hand and/or under some rubber cover on the arm rest. When you start to pop off the door panel (compression pins hold the panel on - usually along the edge of the panel). You need to be aware of the power window/door/light clips that will need to be removed from their connectors prior to completely removing the door. And, also the door release mechanism that opens the door. Take your time and make mental notes on where the connector go when reassmbling the door panel. I was hesitant about removing my door pannel, too, at first but all went well - just take your time. Or, pay $35 and take to an audio shop and see how they do it.

We were all 'first timers' once, but it helps if you have a buddy that has done a door panel before and can get you started. It's not difficult, but it is easy to break (or lose) a fastener when you're re-assembling it.
