Does a Bicycle fit in the trunk?

Can anyone confirm if a standard sized road bike would fit in the trunk with both the rear seats folded down and the front wheel of the bike removed.

Also, does any one know the measurements (height and width) of the rear seat pass thru when the seats are folded?

Thanks.

Not sure about a road bike but my (17" frame) mountain bike with 29" wheels fits easily (with the front wheel off of course).

yes

My 58cm road bike and 19" 29er mt bike both fit (one at a time, not both) with front wheel removed and seats folded down.

I have an 04 and my hybrid bike fits (barely) with the front wheel off and rear seats folded down. I have to REALLY wrangle with it to get it to fit, though. I'm thinking about trading my 04 in for the wagon. That would make things much easier, I think.
