I know I have an Accord, but they require a heck of a shove to fold in. I'd imagine the TSX would also require some force.

It does take quite a bit of effort... if I ever need it, I use two hands to move it. Because it takes so much effort though, I try not to do it because I feel like I might break something.

EDM models fold in my the touch of a button due to their narrow streets/car parks.

The USDM/NA version mirrors need to be manually folded in with a sledgehammer.

Hmmm didn't know it had to be lifted first. No wonder I had to exert extra effort in pushing them in. I will try this next time

You have to use a ball peen hammer. Just give them a quick smack on the turn signal, and they will fold back.

The Euro Accord's mirrors fold at the push of a dash button, which begs the question: why do we have to get out and fold our mirrors manually and Honda owners don't? The Accord badged version of the car shouldn't better equipped than the Acura version. I thought Acura was supposed to have the more upscale version.

I guess the ones who drive the Honda Accord in Europe are "richer" than the ones who drive the Honda Accord in U.S. and they are the same class as people who drive Acura in U.S.
Enough joke.
Here's the reason, in Europe, roads are small, super small, tiny bit, narrow, left alone parking spaces, just enough for Mr. Bean MimiCooper while in the U.S., geez, huge space, double space. I'm in Boston, MA and honestly I don't even remember the last time I have to fold the mirrors.

I learned the mirrors did this in the car wash. First, a moment of horror. Then, relief once I figured out they moved back.

Yeah these mirrors need some force when pushing in. Just wish for the price we pay for and need be this is considered in the entry luxury car division they should have standard
power folding mirrors and push button start!

The mirrors folding in are a safety feature, like if you brush up against a pedestrian instead of a trash can, they will collapse and cause less damage. They are not meant to be folded in to tuck them out of the way on a regular basis. The euro cars have them as a feature so on narrow streets they don't get clipped by other cars. That's not usually a problem in the US.

I thought the mirrors only folded out (away from the vehicle so the glass is showing), not in.

Fail.

Fail.
They actually fold both ways, as I found out in a car wash (the last time I'm taking it to a car wash)

Does anyone find that when they fold in their mirror... it has screwed up their personal settings for their outside mirror? I seem to always have to adjust mine.

whew.. thank God these mirror fold out. As I was backing in I a loud snap and when I looked the mirror was folded out. I had a hit a steel bean on the parking deck. I almost had heart attack. I push it back to see if it go back back and snapped right back into place. If this was my old honda accord I would be look at 300 dollar bill.
