cold air intake

would an after market cold air intake give my 2014 4 cylinder tsx more power or better gas mileage? I know that its supposed to help on bigger engines but not sure what improvements it would make on a smaller engine like this.

Butt dyno will tell you it has "better throttle response" and/or "it pulls harder". IMO, you're just gonna get sound.

If you're not turbocharged or supercharged, I don't see the point in a CAI.

Our XLR8 AEM V2 CAI gains about 7-10hp on the TL, I can't imagine you wouldn't see some gains on the TSX. For this application though I would go with the Injen CAI, we have it available on our website for $274.21. I recommend the Injen because it's designed to give you the best gains without compromising Air/Fuel ratios.

There is absolutely no point in getting a CAI if you are stock(unless all you want is more noise). You will probably see a marginal increase if you pair it with a full exhaust. All CAI are exactly the same and essentially an overpriced tube with a filter on the end. Don't waste your money on garbage.

A basic google search would have found this answer in a ton of websites, and in about 50 threads on this forum.

Agree Cold air or Ram intake made no noticeable difference on my 2010. If you want a mod where you can feel the difference get a downpipe.
