Okay, so my car is in the body shop due to a deer smacking into my car. The damage is minimal (Clear bra, bumper scraped and a clip popped out). However, the body shop knows I mentioned a clip but can't figure out where I am talking about. In the Google image below, you see the white panel when the door as ajar. In front of that, which is between the front of the car/door gap, there is a black piece that is help on top by a clip and I am not sure what on the bottom. Does anyone know what this is? I am being extremely vague so I just hope someone knows so I can do this without making a trip. It's in a tight area behind the door which would literally take plyers to put the clip in if the door is on the car.
