After taking delivery in April and only a few thousand miles, everything is running good for the 2011 V6 Tech... except for two tiny chips. More than five feet, you can't see them. About half the size of a bb and my touch-up bottle is like water on WP.

Any DIY suggestions for just the bottom lip for protection... 3M, etc.

Go with the clear bra, it will only get worse as the miles add up. If you just want to cover the bottom 3 or 4 inches, I could make a pattern that you could install yourself.

Made some modifications to the pattern for just the lower portion of the bumper in red. These pieces should be easy (small) enough for most anyone to self install. Could make them available for around $60 plus shipping.

hmm i been looking into a clear bra for the whole bumper. does it still shine like the paint or can u tell the line where it stops?

If its installed right, you shouldn't be able to tell. The new Avery Nano film is pretty difficult to even tell its there.
