Check Charging System 2010 TSX
Hi,
I have a 2010 TSX that has just recently given me a Check Charging System warning.
Does this mean the alternator is going bad? I checked the voltage while running, it varies anywhere from 13.7-14.1 and my battery reads 12.5v while off.
Everything seems ok. Any suggestion?

There are no codes to clear. The alert went off for about 2 minutes but came back on.
Any ground points in particular?
The battery is about 5 months old.
Car has about 140k miles.
belt is probably original but looks good.

Battery post are clean and tight.
just swapped out the original drive belt because I already had the part anyway.
Problem is still there..
I went to auto zone and had them check my battery and alternator, they said test came back as good. Which I figured, because my battery with car off is 12.4v and 13.8-14.1v when on.
I'm curious if anyone would know if the idle pulley should spin several times when spun by hand.
It only spins like 2-3 times by hand with the belt off.
Belt tensioner spins freely and is quite.
