Hey guys I have an 2009 TSX basic model. I'm pretty sure it's halogen projectors. So do I just buy a ballast and install a H1 bulb on?

 

you do have HID's stock.
unless you're talking about your Daytime Running Lights(DRL's)

 

I don't think the Canadian basic model comes with HID's. The basic model also has cloth seats.

 

we're just assuming and speculating about where he's from...

I get all my HID needs from theretrofitsource.com

a bit pricey, but has QUALITY products.
if H1 is the type of bulb your car uses, then I would just buy an H1 HID kit from theretrofitsource.com
it will include a relay wire and everything that you need
I bought my kit for $150 but it might be a little extra to canada.

 

So for tsx 2009 basic model Canadian the projector is not HID projector it's a halogen projector

 

So the HID H1 kit should work right

 

no , you will get that horrible return wire shadow which you will hate as you will see if on ground.

Best bet if get tsx hid projectors and swap over , its bolt on mod.
