Cargo hooks and rivet nut tool

Anyone know how I can install the cargo hooks without buying the rivet nut tool? Maybe another tool laying around?

I found a resource. You'll of course want to use a 6mm bolt.

what's wrong with just using the nut and washer that comes with the hook? I used a small wrench to hold the nut in place while fastening the hook with a rachet.

Nothing. The guides are for installing the rivet nut without the rivet nut tool into the prepunched hole, as directed in the official Honda instructions.

When you say you used a screw and screwed it right in, could you describe that in more detail?
