Camry SE vs. TSX

Camry SE vs. TSX
We are looking to replace my wife's 98 Accord. I have really liked my 04 TSX, but we are also looking at the 2012 Camry SE. A fully loaded Camry would cost about $6,000 less than a new TSX, and the only important things the TSX has that the Camry does not have are the HID headlights and a memory drivers seat. It also has 20 less HP, but the higher gas mileage should more than make up for that, especially since her Accord only has 150 HP. The SE seats feel more like my TSX seats, which I really like. The current TSX seats do not feel as snug.
Has anyone else cross shopped the TSX and the SE? If so, I would appreciate your comments.

I'd say there is a noticeable difference in how they feel and drive. Different preferences really.
The Camry is 'the right car' for many people.

Three Wheelin'
the loaded SE cost 28.5
loaded TSX cost 32.9
seems like a big difference in price but I think that the TSX offers more HID, Nav, ELS, 201hp and its higher class than Toyota
TSX is the best buy for the money you pay

When I was shopping for my car earlier this year it was 2010 TSX or 2011 Camry SE. The reason I choose the TSX is because feels 10x more luxurious than the SE. And seriously, the 2012 Camry looks disgusting...

Honestly, do you want to drive the same car as every other person, or something that's unique without breaking the bank?
When I talk to TSX owners, this is the reason they chose the TSX over it's competitors whether it be the Lexus IS250, Accord, Civic, Camry, or Corolla.

Everyday I'm rofling
This is one of the biggest reasons I had for getting a TSX. I also was thinking about a 3rd gen TL, and IS250. I really like the looks of them, but they are EVERYWHERE. The camry is a good car for the masses, but even if its something nice I hate being just another boring face in the crowd. I am very happy with the choice I made.

When I went to the auto show a couple of weeks ago, I sat inside the new Camry just to get a feel of it. Personally, the Camry interior cannot even compare to the TSX. But then again, you can't really compare luxury line and standard line.
So for just a little bit more, why not go with the TSX? The standard TSX is already much better than the top of the line Camry. After two years of my TSX purchase, I STILL love my car as much as the day I drove it out of the lot. The pick up speed is really good for just a 4-cylinder car. If you go V6, it is even better. I just wish that they had a 4-cylinder turbo version.

it depends,
Have you given up on enjoying life?
Does the flare of excitement no longer rage in your soul?
Are you completely content with moving into the elderly phase of your life?
If so, head to your local toyota dealership

The Honda community was like the Toyota has a crap interior and handles like a boat:

it's a car-drive it
Never owned a toyota-so no comment-tsx is a excellent car-recommend it
I think the toyota warranty is 3yrs/36K while the tsx is 4/50K

WTH happened to my garage
IMHO,
Camry - Ultra soft suspension.
Altima- Middle of the road suspension.
TSX - Driver's suspension.
The Camry is so mushy it makes me queasy, the newer Nissans (after the Renault acquisition) are, just OK.
Once Honda made the move to MAF's, timing CHAINS and offered some torque, I found my new home.

You see me, I CU2
But really a Camry and the TSX are in completely different categories.
One is a midsize sedan for "that quintessential family" while one is an entry level/wannabe luxury brand with delusions of being sporty (FWD LOL)
I am not hating on my own car but you know what I mean.

Good point, I shoulda used Accord or Honda, but the current LX accord I drove a couple years ago was really floaty, too.
To me, Hondas have historically been a "solid feedback road feel" car.

The camry is a solid car, ive test driven the new one, and ive drove the v6 tsx before, and i can honestly tell you, as far as performance, the camry is a win.
rides way smoother than the tsx, cabin noise is much less than the tsx, response on the SE model is superior to the TSX, acceleration is smooth, gears shift very smooth because its 6 speed auto. (mind i say that tsx v6 is 5speed auto)
a v6 loaded SE (has lip kit already) is 30k before taxes
a v6 loaded tsx tech is 41k with a lip kit
11k difference but has about the same performance, some better some not.
you tell me which is worth your buying.. for that 11k difference, id buy a camry.

all you guys are basing your statements off your opinion, but when you actually factor it down, you will see they they are both almost identical, just one is cheaper and better.
