Burning Smell

A burning oil smell has been coming from the bottom of my TSX. I read another mention of this as being a known issue. Is this something that needs to be addressed or is that normal?

How many miles do you have on it?

50 miles maybe. I think it might be a new car thing because it seems to have went away.

Yeah, it can happen up to 100 miles. There are new seals on the car that burn off during the first few miles. It's normal.

it's probably just the cat and/or exhaust being broken in. i've had that smell before, but it was a plastic bag that got caught under my car once. parts of it melted and gave off that atrocious scent ... easy fix
