You think this setup will work out?
well I can help you out lol

Voltage= Volts
Power=Watts
Voltage≠Watts

I'll help where i can bro.

Those bulbs look good for the DRL. I have the JLC resistors, I'm not sure of the value as they come in a metal box all wired so we will be guessing there. . So hopefully the resistors will work to turn off the drl warning. The vled DRL module works well except when I used it with the resistors it would pop the high beam fuse. I solved that by just adding a relay to it. But it works now.

My bulbs are only 7w vs. yours at 16. So I would do it in steps.

Get the bulbs and resistors working at OEM voltage first. ONLY THEN add the DRL module if you want to see what 12v looks like. If I put on high beams or flash to pass it would pop the fuse. If your setup dies that we can add a $5 relay.

thanks rob. what kind of difficult is involved in adding that relay?

I will really need dummy proof instructions for that. I will definitely reach out to you when the time comes

d-post for me

adding a relay is easy. its just a switch really.

a relay takes battery power and sends it directly to your device, in this case drl.
and you then use the original power wires to trigger or switch the relay on and off.

Thank you Joe for this. Most people overlook this. I have seen quite a few helicopters crash because the engineer forgot that voltage≠watts.

On a separate note, killerg make sure you think about the vectors that the current is traveling. As we all know, vectors like to only go in one direction. If you take those vectors and make them do u-turns a bunch of times, they start to emit thousands of electrons. These electrons will easily go through plastics and most metal in the car and will cause your electronics to malfunction and overheat. If they reach your body you will start bleeding from the inside out.

if you're too scared to bake it than you can use a hair dryer or heat gun. I ended up doing this to reseal my headlights and it's so much easier than baking it; mainly because my oven was too small so I had to hold the door open so it wouldn't touch my headlights lol

@ joe

i ordered cf to wrap the interior portion of the orange reflector... its a seperate piece and shouldnt be too hard I just hope it looks good there

your suggestion seems better but id have to tear up the orange to put it there unless I cut out and directly put it there... hmm

You were gunna wrap the square reflector?

Not sure what you mean about "tear up the orange to put it there" but once you take out the Z shaped reflector the shiny piece that I pointed at in my picture is directly beneath. Just cover that portion in vinyl.

I will try and see how they look in photoshop after finals...

I was gunna photoshop but Im only good at dick pics in paint.

All I know is its gunna be sick to have CF in the headlights. I really wish I would have done it when I cleared mine out a year ago. The idea never even popped in my head.
