Broken Mirror 2010 TSX

I have a white 2010 TSX. My son backed out of the garage and hit the passenger mirror on the post. The mirror itself is broken and the casing is damaged. Does anyone have any ideas of how to get it repaired the most economical way. I live in Irvine (orange County) California.

Thanks...Herb

Buy the parts you need, or the whole assembly, and repair it yourself...

The other option is to look for the part in a junk yard. Might be a hard find though.

pics will help. the damage shouldn't be that bad... the mirrors are meant to absorb the impact and actual fold both ways. if the damage is a crack, and you are low on cash, you could try superglue and touch up paint, and just replace the mirror. you know thats 7 years of bad luck?

Breaking a mirror - 7 Years bad luck, breaking your Dad's car - 10 years bad luck. Total damage 17 years bad luck, and years of convenient guilt trips anytime you piss off Dad.

I think the mirror probably went the 'wrong' way. Some wise man said "a picture is worth a thousand words"

there is no wrong way, you can fold it to have the mirror facing in, so the tip towards the rear, or the mirror facing out, the tip facing the front. and wanna hear one worse? breaking a condom... 18 years
