Best Glue for Plastic

I took out my grille out the car to clean it yesterday (ran over something like sticky corrosive paint on the road)...as I left for the bathroom my dog jumped on top of my grille and broke one of my plastics tabs on the grille...

whats the best thing to use to glue plastic back together??

Im at work and picture is not posting properly but here is a link to what is broken!!!

Dunno which spot on the grille that tab belongs to but many people here don't even use all the tabs to hold the bumper/grille to their car. ahem...pyro and defcon

i think you should be okay but i'll let one of those two chime in and confirm.

That looks like on the important ones. The two that are at the top of the grill and connect to the car are the ones that are important

damn you have a fat ass dog huh

haha, you CAN do without that clip, just make sure that you get all the other cliips in, and most important of all, the 2 screws behind the grille help a lot (where you screw it onto the bumper itself)

you should be ok and it shouldn't pop out since you have that screw.

try JB WELD Kwik Weld. not sure if its a specific one for plastic but it says it right on the front of the package.

be careful it will thin as it dries but it holds all sorts of plastics together well.

This is what i used on bumpers, grilles, and anything else that is plastic.. Its like a powder that you sprinkle, and then apply superglue stuff over it..It turns as hard as concrete and it holds extremely well..I did amazing stuff with this stuff...seriously, this is what I would use..check it out. Its kinda expensive, but amazing stuff. I think you could fix it with this..

^^^15 bucks is not bad, but i paid about 40 bucks for 3 of those powder things and 3 glues at a local paint store.. but i also needed it asap...

@apinwp09GBTSX---you should get a soldering iron and some black plastic from anything that you dont need, and melt it all around where the clip and the grille touch..this will just prevent it from breaking off when it bends a little... and then put the q-bond over it. This is just what I have done on a lot of things before, and its been good so far..

I'd take a butane lighter to get both ends sticky. After sticking them together and letting them dry, I'd cut two pieces of plastic from like a Coca Cola bottle and glue to each side of the broken part with gorilla glue.

Good luck.
