Bent Wheel Repair Shot Northern NJ
I just got back from Ramsey Acura for a vibration and found out my LR wheel is bent causing the vibration.
Its $615 for a new wheel. I asked about a repair and the person said it was not bad and could be straightened. They are supposed to email me the contact of the person who works on the used cars at the shop but I am looking for other recommendations as well.
Can anyone suggest a shot in the Northern NJ area? Rockland would work also since I live in Mahwah.
Thanks in advance

Ebay it or take a look in the black market for a new one.

Could be a cheaper option.

I hit a huge pothole on the highway over the weekend and bent both my RF and RR rims
And I got these OZ rims for summer tires before winter, just put them on 3 weeks ago for the first time and, thanks to the horrible road maintenance by city of Toronto, the set of rims are toast. The rims guy took a look at the bent rims, and said he doesn't recommend repair. The bent is bad and it will cost me upward of $500 to repair 2, and even if he can repair them he doesn't guarantee them won't bend again easy.

Where's this pothole that you speak of? I was driving down the DVP this morning and at some point after the Bloor exit, before the Richmond exit (probably around the Gerrard Street bridge or so), there was a huge pothole on the passing lane. I was able to avoid it, but that would've hurt.
I don't know if this applies to aftermarket wheels, but couldn't you file a complaint to the city of Toronto about the pothole? If they don't fix it within a certain amount of time after the report, you get some sort of reimbursement I believe (or so I've heard). Chances are the pothole will be repaired in time, though. But it wouldn't hurt to try. Check the Eastern Canada regional forums. I believe there's a thread on GTA potholes.

I had the rim repaired the other day. Was fixed at Ramsey Acura by a company called Rims Like New. They do all the work for alot of local dealerships and tire retailers. Acura set up the appt and gave me a loaner car for the day just like any other service I would do through them. I happened to get lucky and get a 2014 RLX (amazing car).
Everything feels like new. Cost 140 total. A little high but I only had to go 10 min from my house and got the loaner also.
