Hi, I have a 2011 TSX and can't figure out how to get the backseat folded down. I see the hatches in the trunk and a key slot in the car behind the seat. I can't figure out how it works. What page in the manual is it in? Can't seem to find that either.

Also on a side note when we take our car to any shop, they don't really check to see what grade of oil your car needs right? I usually ask for synthetic oil but I guess there are many kinds. I know tsx uses 0-w20 according to the manual.

Pull on the latches then push the seats forward from the trunk. Or if you have two people, one pulls the latch and the other can pull the seats from inside or push from the trunk. Once you pull the latch it should enable you to push the seats forward though.

 

If I remember correctly, there is NO WAY you can lower the backseat from INSIDE.
What you would do is, get out of the TSX, pop the trunk open, pull the latch(es). That's how you lower the backseat.
The key slot behind the back used to open the TRUNK, not to lower the backseat. I could be wrong on this one though, will re-check.
