Average Fuel Indicator on your TSX?

What is your average fuel # shown on your MM display now?
Mine is 28.5
A friend of mine (own PWP) has 30.2

Woww, I thought 28.5 is a pretty good number but obviously, you guys beat me pretty bad
This I4 TSX does really good job on fuel, isn't it.

It may be fun to compare but there is really no reason to. Without knowledge of how and where each car is driven, the MM indicator doesn't tell much for use in comparing to other cars/drivers.

The whole purpose isn't for comparison between users, m8.
Just to see how friendly their TSX can produce the mpg based on their driving condition and many other factors.

Nicky, getting 26.5 for V6 is actually really good

And to all others members, does anyone of us can beat "hondu's 35.4"? The number is too good.

I've never had a read lower than 24 mpg and I'm about 90% city / 10% hwy. My avg is usually around 26-27 mpg.

I think the mpg is one of the biggest selling points of the car. One time I made it from Atlanta to Ocean Isle Beach (about 30 miles East of Myrtle Beach) on 3/4 tank of gas. There's simply nothing better than being able to split a tank of gas with friends on a road trip to the beach when you're getting that good of gas mileage

Actually I consistently have 34.5-36 mpg every week on the computer, of course the computer reads on the high side compared to my actual mileage (I fill up the same way every time, so I divide miles driven by gallons put in the tank).

The trip computer is usually high around 2 mpg, so my actual mileage is around 32.5-33 mpg each week. I could probably go 600 miles on a tank, but haven't pushed it passed 540 so far.

My worst mileage so far has been 30.6 mpg, which was after the very first fill up on the tank of gas supplied by the dealer.

So I guess you spend much time driving on the highway. Either way, 30+ is a great number.

I do about 70-80% highway driving (no Interstates). Mostly state highways and country roads.

Driving about 95% city, I get around 23mpg and I have a lead foot. I usually stay around 25mpg though in mixed driving, and straight highway, doing average of 80mph, without driving in a pack of cars, I get around 31.5mpg.

I think the 2.4L I4 in the TSX is an amazing engine. I was worried about my gas mileage before I switched from my Civic, where I averaged around 34-35 mpg in the same driving cycle, but that went away after the first few tanks of gas.

If I want to have fun and push it, I can easily do that in the TSX, but at the same time, if I want to just cruise along and get great gas mileage, I can do that as well.

27.9 for the 2600 miles I've driven it so far. 50/50 City/Hwy. I got a manual but the gas in Illinois has 10% ethanol which doesnt help mileage.

Super, McGee.
I start thinking no point of buying the hybrid

It looks like we have a new champ in here, people.
Is 36.2 from DJMcGee unbeatable?

Don't use it. I'm assuming probably in the 20s since I do hit vtec at least 2-3 times a week for no apparent reason.^_^

But my average in less than 4000 miles is just over 29 and my driving is about 50/50 with the 2.4.

My highest tank is 33 and lowest is 25.

The only way anyone is getting over 33mpg is if they keep it around 60mph, +/- 2-3mph. Or if their commutes are all downhill, or they draft tractor trailers all day long.

After driving into work today, I have 36.6. Would have been better if not for the train.

Woww, even though I know it depends on the driving style and conditions but I don't think I can hit 35, in fact mine never hit 30 just yet, however, it reads as 29.3 now after 300 miles on 80/20 highway, local road, respectively.

Congratulation hondu, you are the new champ.

You need the average speed as well.

I only average 25mpg on my 4cyl, but it's all city as my average speed is 27mph.

I hit 34.2 and I thought that was fantastic. Too bad it wasn't the real figure. Forget the average speed. think it was around 52 mph.
