Hi gang,

First time Acura owner here (2010 TSX) and a first time poster. I've had my car for a week and it drives me crazy that the headlights and tail lights turn on when opening the doors when set to "auto". Is there a way to disable that? I set them to turn off immediately after closing the door but they turn on the whole time that the door is open.

You could try set the light sensors to 'very low.' Otherwise, I just turn off my headlight when I am parked in garage.

 

I loved the auto headlights when I first got the car, but then I started to hate them turning on and off all the time. Now I always just manually turn them on and off.

 

i like that they turn on, they illuminate my path =D

 

Yea. I just keep that off. It's annoying. Lol

 

I manually turn mine off and on. I think they are a beacon for thieves to rob you.
