Anyone try www.oempaints.com?

Body shop quoted me $325 to paint my grill and m3 spoiler.

I found this site that sells OEM paint in spray can form.

Has anyone order from this site?

Minimum order of 3 cans. $29 each

I'm thinking of trying this to paint my grill and m3 spoiler

I have to do it myself but it will save me over $225

http://www.oempaints.com/

They're out in San Diego, CA area.

I would just get it done right the first time at a shop that knows what they are doing. Wouldn't bother messing around with this.

i agree however i dont think its hard to DIY.

its just sanding, 1-2 coats of primer, 2-3 coats of base paint, 1-2 coats of clear and then wetsanding.

dude unless ur like completely cool with doing the paint urself, you should have a body shop do it !!!!

i took mine to maaco and they painted my full grill and front aspec, color matched to nbp for $100.....

i had to take all the parts off and give it to them (you have to take the parts off anyway)....so go there and get a quote and they do some professional shit !!!!

to be honest they put only 1 heavy coat of nbp and 1 clear coat....still holding up midwest rain/ice/sleet/snow....been almost 2 years !!!!

yea ill try the cheaper body shops like maaco and one day paint.

but i mean $100 for 3 OEM paint spray cans and i get to paint 2 items even if i get quoted $200 for a cheaper professional paint job.

i sent them an email.

im like 99% sure im going to buy from them. ill post my work when the cans come in.

nah i dont have a hook up. they said it will be a cash deal with no paperwork. they also didnt guarantee the paint match since the grill is chrome.

ill try the donuts

the maaco i went to, took the color code from the door (you know how the exterior paint code is written on the inside of the door)....and they used that to color match....my grille wasnt chrome so it might have taken out the sanding down effort !!!
