anyone experienced this problem?
so i was trying to start my car, i put my key in and it doesnt turn, as if the thing is stuck. i try many times and ended up calling the acura roadside assistance.

Are you sure it's just not the steering wheel lock?
When you go to start the car move the wheel a little while trying to start.

Yes, steering wheel lock. Apply some force turning the wheel while you start the car.

another question...in what situation would the steering wheel get locked up?

Turning it after the car's been shut off.

well at least you didn't have the tumblers in your key ignition break and not being able to turn your key. that's what happened on my old car

When I was 17 I did this to my mom's friend's Lexus SC400 and she freaked out, screaming about how I broke her car.
