Exclamation Another new TSX owner

Well i have been lurking on here for awhile and haven't posted up my 2nd tsx i bought for my wife. She wanted one so I got a 2011 from the auction wrecked and fixed it up for her. Its a 2011 TSX tech with the 2010 aero bumper front. I wanted to throw some BBS reps 19 x 8.5 on there but at the last moment I pulled the plug because i knew she wouldn't take care of it. So for now shes is going to be rolling stocks.

Love the aero front, did you use a 2010 grille along with the bumper too?

Is it difficult to fine used oem body parts in general. Body shops like to use aftermaket parts to save coin but the parts have to be reainted anyway regardless so why not stick w/ used oem? I would imagine the parts would fit much better than the best aftermerket alternative.

Well I totally understand where you are coming from and I would love to be able to use OEM over aftermarket any day. The problem is most of the time when you do find a tsx that wrecked they are always hit from the font or back if not both. Then you run into the junk yard trying to rip you a new one if you do find a part that will work for you, so it a super gamble! Even with my discount from Honda (cause I work for AHM) it still can't compair to the cheapness of a 45 fender / 75 hood. Really to me now aftermarket bodywork depending who you go with is almost equal (understand I said 75%) to OEM now a days, so on something like this where I have to save a buck or two why wouldnt I get aftermarket. Because I did spend more in buying a OEM airbag and impact sensor ect from Acura then buying the bodywork!
