I have th 2014 tsx with tech package and everytime I use the voice command button the tutorial screen pops up first and goes through the whole speal about waiting for the beep and saying what I want. I know how to do this already so i don't need this popping up everytime. It takes to long to say what i want. I know it can be taken off because when I bought the car a couple of weeks ago it wasn't on there and I think i did something when i was playing around with it.

 

I'm not sure if you can set the "tutorial" to never show up again, but once she starts speaking you can press the talk button to just skip right to the audio command.

 

Yeah, just hit the talk button twice.

 

You can disable that thing, I have done it. It is in the settings. Deeeeep in the settings. I would tell you where, but I don't recall specifically. Start going through the menus and settings, and you'll find it.

Now when I press the talk button, it just beeps and waits. No nanny involved.

 

INFO/PHONE button --> Setup --> Other --> Basic Settings
