Either go and inquire and they'll put you in a queue. You will be called when parts are in.
Or just go for service and they'll notice your car hasn't had the recall so they'll put you in the waiting list (unless parts are in stock)

 

In July, I was told parts would be ordered and I would be called to make an appt. I called to check and parts were available. I'm set for repair on Tuesday, 12-13-16. As my wife explained, "squeaky wheel gets the grease".

Hmmm... I do see the 2009-2014 TSX listed, but when I search by VIN, it shows no open recalls. I have the 2012 TSX Wagon.

 

Checked my Canadian MY13 CU2 as well via VIN (using the safercar.gov site) with no results.

 

Got mine done at Glendale Acura on the 8th of this month. They had the parts for the recall. Took about 1.5 hrs to complete.

 

I am an 09, Took my car in on Friday (12/23) for Acura costumer appreciation day. Got my air bag done same day. Drop off the car at 8:30am, picked it up at 11:30am, plus got a free gift from Acura. (usb charger )

Called my dealer and they said they had no open recalls with my VIN #. Guess I have to wait a bit longer.

 

nice! 2 years ago I got a stainless steel coffee mug! my favorite so far, last round they had some power bank usb charger/battery but I ended up not going.

 

Recall has been extended to 11-12 wagons
i stopped by my dealer today and my VIN is in the system for the recall (at least their system)

Just got a call from my dealer parts for my wagon are in

they will install it next Tuesday.

This is is the fastest ever of any car where notice was announced and parts were ready.

 

I need to call my dealer. I want my airbag already!

 

I checked and my 2012 TSX w/ Tech isn't listed when I insert my VIN. Hopefilly that means I'm safe.

 

Have the dealer verify it. We did the same online and it said not listed. We went to the dealer for a warranty work and I ask to verify if the car was on the recall and sure enough it was listed.

Any of you V6 owner got a notification yet? Just check mine at my Acura, there is non for my VIN#

 

I don't think it matters if it's a V6 or not, it's by year.

I have a 2010 V6 and received my notification around Aug last year, had it done in Nov

2011+ models were just added to the recall not long ago.

 

I'm not seeing it for my 2013 either. Wonder what that all means. If I had to guess, the deterioration happens over a long period of time and 2013 isn't quite it.
