That's a very good way to describe it.

32 here, and I fit their demographic perfectly. Got it mainly for the gadgets.

Ugh. Shut up. Clearly this is not at all what the thread is about. We get it, your penis is huge. Now go away so the adults can talk.

The only reason it's faster is because the engine is larger, and the only reason the engine is larger is because the car's target demographic is fat and heavy. The don't even sell the TL in parts of the world where there are very few fat and heavy people. What you have there is a FWD ass tractor. As far as I can tell the only solitary thing about a TL that's sporty is its speed and even then it's spanked by other cars in its class, not to mention the V6 Camry. Baring that you've got grandpa's Buick.

The pleated seat folds in the Accord leather screams Buick, that puts it older in my book. If Accord offered the styling of the 2 door into the 4 door with more aggressive fenders, better front it, then it would be a closer match. Go with the TSX.

25 here. I, too, wanted the tech, but coming from Civics, I wanted something that's a little bit more grown up and a little bit more class.

Talking Age Factor

I am a divorced and over 50 woman and I just picked up my 2009 TSX on 12/26. It is a lease and a replacement for my leased, 2005 TSX. I found the TL too big and I didn't want to spend that much. IMHO you are only as old as you feel and act!

I looked at the IS250/350, but the body style and 18" wheels looked to juvenile for me, so I went with the 2009 TSX Tech instead.

I'm 18 and the 09 TSX is my first car (: I love it. Although id love it even more if it boasted a V6 or a turbo, like the RSX. I was first planning to get a Lexus IS250 because the Lexus and Acura dealers were neighbors haha. I liked the IS250 except for the fact that the passenger room in the back is very small and came a bit too pricy.

The RSX had neither a V6 nor a turbo. I don't know how or a why an 18 y/o is deciding between a Lexus or an Acura but I'm glad to hear you took price into consideration nevertheless.

26 here and my first acura. I decided to get the 5AT instead of 6MT because I drive 70 miles a day in San Francisco traffic... I will probably regret this on days when I just want to open up the throttle.. nothing beats the feel of a manual when you're gunning it.

21, about to graduate college. I'm tired of driving my hooptie (spelling?) around and my car is about as old as I am. The deal was if I could a full ride through college my parents would buy me a car, so here I am! (at least after we go into the dealership next week)

I'm 24. Reason why I went w/ the TSX is that it had all the techie gadgets that I was looking for (HFL, HID Headlights, iPod Sync) and was pretty slick looking.

A great "bang for the buck".

Ditto with LindaFL. Like my Uncle Chester said, "you're only as old as you think you are!" Anyways, the TSX is an entry-level luxury car - in theory it may be targeted for thirty something's, but in reality - it's for people that can afford it, regardless of age.

Saw a guy who was probably around 70 driving one yesterday and he looked happy and was driving pretty aggressively! Cool to see!
