adjusting the electronic power steering?

OK, so the new electronic steering is a bit week. But since it's electronic, isn't it "just" software determining the how/what/wheres of steering feedback in the 2g TSX?

Could Hondata or someone similar tweak the steering software to firm it up? Now that it's electronic, it would appear that the steering algorithms are in software, meaning that it's adjustable post-purchase.

So... how off am I here?

This has been asked before here and on the S2000 forums. In the end, even if it was possible, I doubt anyone would undertake such a thing. Far too much liability. You know that one accident would put all the 'burden of proof' on Hondata to prove that the update did not cause the crash.
