Actual color of door sill
Hello, I have a 2009 TSX dark grey. My kick plates are blue colored, but I noticed it is peeling off a bit, revealing a silver color underneath.
Is the blue film standard for this car? Or is it supposed to be peeled off when the car was sold?

haha that is just the protective film on them. Mine were left on too and it took me a few days to realize it. Peeling film off like that on new things feels so good.

I dont get you guys. Peeling off that film is such a great feeling. Seeing a perfect, untouched shiny surface after peeling it off is awesome. Same goes for all electronics with it on them.

I actually remember being a little disappointed that the kick plate was blue. But I assumed the color differs according to the body paint, and I had no choice in the matter...
Thanks guys. Definitely going to peel it off.

Here's some advice guys: I pulled mine off at around 90,000 miles, 3 years. I did so because there was a little rust like substance forming on the aluminum petals. I couldn't even get it off...
