3rd time in!

Angry 3rd time in!

I just made my third appointment for my Wife's 10 TSX to go in for ;
engine pinging, and brake rotor pulsing.

Car has 38,000 on it now. Had 22,000 when I brought it too their attention the first time.

I have Acura Client Services involved and have a "case Manager".
Discussed in detail when and how both the intermittent pinging occurs. Along with when and how the pulsing happens, also intermittently.

Both time prior I came away with the response, "unable to duplicate customer's concerns".

Discussed in detail with Case Mgr. privately then with Service rep from dealer on line also.

Told them both that They are to keep the car until they duplicate the issues and repair the issues. Insisted that they provide me a loaner for all time involved

I want the rotors replaced and the pinging ended. If I arrive to pick it up and they tell me they can not duplicate the concerns I will not take the car until it it fixed.

WE shall see how that goes

While I understand your frustration, there isn't much they can do if they can't duplicate the issue.

Can you duplicate the problems reliably? If so, then you need to take a tech for a ride with you so that they can see the problems.

If you can't duplicate them, then they won't either and it'll be another wasted trip.

I have my pinging fixed after switch dealership. I brought my car in to same dealership four times for engine pinging, they never fixed it. I ended up change to other dealership, they fixed my pining at one shot.

I agree. Next closest one is an hour away.
Hopefully the additional pressure added by contacting Acura Client Relations helps.
