XM/Sirius has the "Big 4" radio now on Liquid Metal with Mandatory Metallica - best drive into work!

I used to dig the boneyard on my cars when i had the subscription. It was a great XM channel, i think like 52 or something. It was weird though, it rarely ever played a song i didnt have on my ipod haha, i was always wondering if i had XM on or not

I saw maiden last year when they were in NY if you were at that show

and 2 years back when they did the somewhere back in time 2nd leg. Best moment was when the power went out...during Powerslave

MSG w/ Dream Theater - yep, I was there! Sick show, I love IM. I usually listen to Boneyard over Liquid Metal, but mandatory Metallica is... mandatory

I couldn't make that show 2 years ago though, I seem to remember my friends telling me about the power going out, haha

You've got good taste in that case

i actually saw metallica twice on their last tour haha (death magnetic tour)

DT opening was awesome too...and a sick show as usual. IM by far my favorite stage performers. I saw megadeth recently and I was let down by their stage/set =/

power during that maiden show went out for like 15 minutes and they played soccer on stage, lulz. Boneyards great for the occasional ozzy/journey/zep too which is nice. Only reason i considered keeping XM. Gonna listen to some IM now

I still discover new IM shit which i like and skipped over before, which is great (like purgatory...and the rest of the entire killers album)

Check out "road to hell" by dickinson too, he did it solo but it sounds like a maiden track through and through
and, and. Saxon. Another english heavy metal band very very similar to Maiden during their peak, "princess of the night" and "747 strangers" are both fantastic. Some of their new stuff is closer to metallica like "witchfinder general"

Metallica is my fav band, I saw them 3x on the DM tour - twice at MSG (both nights), then the week before in Albany I believe (IDR now, can't believe it was a year and a half or so, time flies).

Megadeth is overrated live, Dave can't sing very well live. I saw them a few years ago at The Chance in Poughkipsee. Saw the Misfits there a few months ago, fun show.

I've listened to a bunch of Bruce's solo stuff a long time ago, it was alright. I heard Adrian also has a solo album which I want to check out, though I heard he sings like ass haha

Sad thing is I re-parked my car three times, THREE, because the first time one car was too close and I was afraid someone would hit my doors, second the car was parked at an angle, so I ended up parking in a wide open spot, no one to the left of me or right. Looks like someone's door railed my passenger side door No note, no witness, nothing. I can't believe how someone would not care enough to leave a note or go inside and have someone paged - astonishes me how ignorant people in this world really are. Anyways, I have an estimate on Thursday to get it looked at. I have never posted a photo on the forum before, so I am just going to try to paste it (doubt it will work). If someone can help me put a photo in my post I would appreciate it! I took it from my phone after I saw the damage, kind of hard to see how bad it really is in the photo. Any idea how much this is going to cost to get fixed? I know nothing about body work on cars lol. P.S. - I didn't mean to hijack your thread!
Ok... Let's see if this image thing worked.

never heard adrians stuff, though ill youtube it once i get a chance, but i saw them in the PRU and at MSG. MSG was much, much better. Not a huge fan of the Newark Pru center. And yes you are right, the singing sounded like shit, as a big megadeth fan i was hugely disappointed. Metallica does live shows way way better (oh yeah and i also have equal love for both, none of the mega>meta or meta>mega crap here)

He did shred like a motherfucker though during their holy wars + peace sells mixed outro finale

where are you located, JBS?

get a paintless dent repair done (prolly 275) and then get the panel touched up (maybe another 125)

or find a place that will do it all at once

if you are in jersey i know the right man for dents.

Hi KillerG. I'm located in northwestern PA... What sucks is I have a $500 deductible. I'm assuming it will be more than that to have it all fixed at once. I think i just might end up having the insurance handle it and taking it to the dealer (gasp.. I know, I know) and having them fix her up... seeing as its only 5 months old. At least they will give me a car off the lot while its being fixed. It does look at lot worse in person.. amazing that a car door can do that much damage... but most of the damage is where that gouge is on the fold of the bottom of the door. Sigh.

A car door handled by a jackass does ALOT of damage. Sorry to hear about your pain. If it helps you feel better, as i was waxing the car the other day, my dad passes by and in an attempt to scare a bird away jumps and accidentally throws a windex bottle 20 feet in the air which lands directly on my trunk and leaves a baseball sized dent -_-

so freak accidents could happen too =/

took it to a paintless dent repair specialist and he worked some serious magic on it, but thanksfully i had no paint damage =/ best of luck with that, it looks gnarly and people are huge fucking assholes. A mans car is sacred and should never be harmed like that :'(

people opening their doors sometimes are fucking braindead, no consideration of whats next to them, they just slam their door open hit the car next to them and drag their fat fucking asses into their f150 pickup truck and go on their way to start tailgaiting someone

my favorite is when people swing their doors as wide open as possible while you are driving by them. i swear those people are fucking morons who do that and dont look for incoming cars. I always hope the guy behind me crashes into their door and rips it off

Newark Pru sucks, and the suckiest is Nassau Colosseum, that place blows.

Of course I prefer Meta, I still think Mustaine is a douche... haha. But musically, they're both good.

jbs102: I wouldn't go through insurance just yet. Get a few quotes from some places first, and then if it comes out lower or around the deductible, then just do that. If you file through insurance, they'll screw you later on with higher rates, because they're douches

I went to nassau once...it was disgusting. AGREED!

I like both, but in terms of guitar-oscity i think mustaine has the edge over hammett by far

(this is how bar fights break out)

I'm going to key your TSX! Those are fightin' words!

But you're right - haha. 80's Hammett was a monster. Now he he's sloppy... real sloppy. Mustaine had to relearn guitar because he pinched a nerve a few years ago, that did him well. Hammett needs to do the same...

Damn that sucks, good to hear you got it fixed. I had my car less then a week and a guy reversed right into me...... The car is not the same anymore.

If you got a dent with no paint cracking I know a guy that does comes to Lexus and knock them out. I think its 50-70 a panel.
