Stupid cars. Always running into things.

Got quoted $330 OTD for the ILX 6 speed manual lease...might be bidding you all farewell soon.

I'm not leaving, lol....I just won't own a tsx anymore...if when I bury the negative equity, the lease payments come to a number I like, then I'm going for the gusto. I'll still troll these threads.

looks the same shit.
oh, and i researched the k23 motor.
it will not drop into any other chassis other than the RDX.
you would have to create all new mounts, find a suitable tranny, as the rdx is SHAWD, etc.
in other words, you'll spend a lot of money trying to drop in the K23

Yeah, I remember reading about someone trying to drop the K23 into another car; didn't work, waste of $$$ on the engine. I actually posted a thread and asked about this quite a while back. But here's a question: if the engine in your TSX suddenly went out and you decided the replace the engine not the car, what engine would you guys drop in it?

these motors arent like back in the day.
every one has different mounting points/ not to mention tranny options.
the 3.2 and the 3.5 TL use different tranny housings.
impossible to do a swap unless you're made of money and can fab up stuff like ths.
so, if my motor ever dies, the only one that would fit would be another 3.2 J series.
it would be interesting to see what engine the guy dropped in on the club forum

I dont think the accord looks bad at all. The head and tail lights are a lot less bubbly. I think its a decent update overall. Not too drastic, but still enough to make it look a little better. Those renderings always make the car look a lot nicer, so we'll see how the real deal compares.

The new accord does what it needs to do...be a conservatively designed vehicle to counteract the more polarizing designs from the likes of the ford fusion and hyundai sonata. Will be interesting who ends up on top.

PyroDave, I hope you burn in a fiery hell...lol, jk. So I reached out to your guy for an ILX, his quote: 6-speed manual ilx, 0 down (like walk in there with no money in pockets), 10k per year, and 39 months for 365.
My guy in ct: 330 a month, 504 down for reg and dealer fees, first month payment paid, 10k per year 38 months. My total comes to 460 with the tsx's negative equity.
Once someone buy my downpipe, I'm gonna hop on my guy's deal. I don't mind paying an extra 35 bucks a month for a manual car with the same features (save for a power seat / memory seat).
In pyro's defense, i think a lot has to do with the difference in tax between nj and ct.
