Love the frs/brz twins. I maybe picking one up by end of summer to replace my 325i. That or the Abarth, Fiesta ST, or a Clubman.

just did it in 10 mins. Turn mirror to face all the way in. pry off the clips from the bottom and then pull it down wards mirror - mirror removed.

I know...... but I am skeptical about whether it will really work like that, and don't want to spend money on it and then throw muddy water and watch it all go terribly wrong. Has anyone here used it?

sure; it'll be able to repel water like that.

but most waxes and sealants do that.

the ad screams buy me over the others.

I use Meguiers Quick detailer and spray wax. It works, just not as well as if you were to actually wax the car or have some sort of coating on it. Oreilly's is having a sale right now so I got 3 bottles of detailer LOL $8 each compared to the usual $10-12
The Turtle Wax Ice stuff is on sale too for $7

i detail cars on the side; and keep my two vehicles shiny ALL the time.
I love when it rains and or like in the video; mud slides right offf!

the key is to be diligent in car washes and keeping it sealed with a sealant

^ +12

I wonder how long that turtle wax stuff will actually last? Two weeks? A month?

I wanna try the 22ple glass coating stuff. 18 months of protection would be pretty awesome.

The only bad part about water beading from waxes is when it is those quick rain moments that get dried up and all that crap leaves spots. It's like your car just got measles.

I also dont use quick detailer.
I think its a waste of money.

instead of spot washing; i'd rather wash the whole car.
weekly car washes for the win!

^ I used a QD once, maybe I didn't use enough spray, but I ended up with small swirls.

I agree, weekly washes are good along with a monthly coat of sealant.

QD is great for just a small amount of bug/pollen during the week. Also for those that don't want to wax regularly.
