2014 TSX Sport Wagon Maintenance Schedule
I feel kind of daft asking this, but I have a 2014 TSX Sport Wagon arriving tomorrow (!!) and the Acura Owners' web site has the world's most ludicrously complicated information about maintenance schedules. They list 7 different "maintenance minders." Heck, I just want to know how often I've got to take the car in to be examined. Every 5,000 miles? Every 3,500 miles?
What's the quick answer? What do you do?

hahah noticed the same question on the other forum. Copy & paste:

At a certain point, the car will have a light come on (like a check engine light, but more of a reminder) that will tell you which service needs to be done in the form of a code. It may say A1 for example. If you look up what A1 is in your manual it will say something like, change your engine oil and oil filter. It's pretty convenient.
I suppose this way is better than "every X miles" for optimization purposes. The ECU will figure out if you're doing more highway miles than city miles for example, and will adjust accordingly to have your oil changed at a higher number of miles than the reverse case.
You'll get used to it But when time comes the maintenance minder goes off and you don't know what you need to do, you can always call Acura, or even ask the forums.
