2012 arrivals and discounts on 2011s?
Being an accountant and all-around cheapass, I was wondering when the 2012 TSXs are going to arrive in, and if inventory levels will support deep discounts on 2011s when that happens. Any thoughts?

I would imagine the '12 TSX is rolling out within the next 4-6 weeks, but that could be delayed due to the situation in Japan. I'm pretty sure you could get a deal on an '11, but probably not as much as you'd think. Dealers just aren't willing to budge as much on new car prices as they used to due to inventory. Also, it might be hard getting the color, trans combo you want in an '11 at this point...

I want an auto (keeping the S2000 for fun) and basically any color as long as it has black interior (prefer black or pewter, but flexible.) If I can't get a good deal, I'll just say screw it and wait, or buy CPO. It's funny, on one hand I hear the economy is crappy, but on the other, dealers aren't moving on new car prices, nor are they moving on used car prices...something's gotta give.

Thanks man, I love this damn thing.
It's my all-weather DD for right now, I run Dunlop WinterSports as snows:
And I use it like a pickup (take the seat out)
It's a 2003, bought in 2007 with 36k miles. Currently has ~92k. Given me nearly zero trouble (replaced clutch slave cylinder and fixed the timing chain tensioner which is a common issue on the car.) Other than that, runs like a top and gets 9k runs almost daily. Wonderful car.

Please don't drive the S2K in the winter and stop using it as a pickup! That's a sweet machine and a classic, especially in red. I have a buddy with a silver one. I'm forever begging him to let me drive it. So, hurry up and get the TSX so you can garage that baby and give it the care it deserves.
