2010 Acura TSX w/ Nav Price

Guys, this is my first post so please be easy on me.

I have been looking to buy a new 2010 TSX with Tech for a few months now but I am not so sure if the offer I got was a good deal.

I emailed one dealer and they offer me $32,500 OTD; second dealer offered $30,900+TTL. There is a $750.00 incentives right now but I don't know if Acura has offered better than this in the past?

Guys, what do yall think? Should I wait til the end of the year?

Thanks in advance.

Looks like you can get a Tech model OTD in Maryland for $31K.

I assume you are referring to the 4 cylinder. I bought my 2010 4cyl TSX w/ Tech for 32k. That 32k included the destination charge of $750. The dealer also included for free about $1k in accessories (Premium sport steering wheel, all weather mats, splash guard). According to Kelly Blue Book, most people are paying in that $31k to $32k range. There really isnt a lot of markup on the 4 cyl TSX, so there isnt a lot of room to bargain. I really tried to squeeze an Automatic Starter out of the dealer (about $600), but wasnt able to, even threatening to leave.

If you want info on the 2010 TSX V6 with tech, I got mine for 33,500k plus taxes/registration. Depending on where you live, taxes/registration may be different. Edmunds.com say that people pay 35,600k on average on this car (not including the taxes and fees). Hope this helps.

Hondas generally don't have a lot of markup, so unless a particular dealer has a special reason to sell one cheaper, most of the time the prices are relatively similar locally. I've noticed that prices have gone back up since increased sales and reduced production have gotten rid of some glut. 32k OTD seems reasonable from other responses. Regionally I'm sure you'd be able to find a few cheaper, but around here it seems like thats about what they're going for right now. Call around some more and compare prices. If everyone is giving you a similar price (say within $1k or so), then that probably is your market rate. Fees can vary from 0-500 or so, and sales tax is whatever your rate is locally...if you have several offers, let the dealers know what those are and ask them if they can beat them. Be clear that you ARE buying a car from whoever sells it to you for the cheapest. Many dealers won't want to quote you a serious price unless they know you're seriously buying.
