2010 or 2011 Lease

2010 or 2011 Lease
Anyone lease a new TSX yet in January? I know the deals were pretty stellar for December (ending Jan 3), but just curious if anyone had done anything since then.
I know dealers are trying to push out the 2010's...however, I am wondering how the lease programs are on those. I am curious if the 2011 would be about the same.
Thoughts before I go to the dealer?

Biggest tip: negotiate the PRICE OF THE CAR (invoice up, not retail down) before asking about incentives.
* Never answer the question: "how much are you willing to spend per month?"
* Don't divulge whether you want to buy vs. lease until you have leverage in negotiations
Dealers are going to want to push out those 2010's first. If you like the 2010, then odds are in your favor of getting a decent deal.

If you want to know which is a better lease deal, the 2010 or the 2011, negotiate an acceptable purchase price on both, then ask them to do a lease based on those selling prices.
If you start off asking about leases it's easy for them to push you to the 2010 to move it off the property.

If you are ok with the 2010 model and don't need the extra nav options and HDD option I would most definitely go with the 2010. You will have much more opportunity for negotiations by far. For me it was a no brainer, the 2011 was going to cost me $100 more a month.

Thanks for the replies. Not the first time I am negotiating a lease...I know how to do that. Although, thanks for the advice. Was more or less hoping someone would chime in with the difference in the programs right now. Cap cost will be reduced more on the 2010 along with the money factor but the 2011 residual will be much better and could make up for a large portion of the difference. At any rate I will update you guys with what I find out.

on 1/4/11...$29,200 car price....$380/mo on 2010 w/Tech for 10k miles a year cause we only put about 7-8k a year on our cars...$0 money down and dealer paid our tax and tag fees...I walked in without a dollar and walked out with a key and my second tsx...the 2011 was about $70 more a month and was definately not worth it to me.

It just depends on the lease metrics. I ended up going with the 2010 because it was the better deal. The MF and Cap cost were sooo low it was more than enough to offest the lower residual and get me a solid monthly payment with nothing down.
