2009 TSXreview on Motorweek
They reviewed the 09 TSX on Motorweek today. They said a MSRP of $28860. They did not like the look from the back, it is too generic. The review seemed to be positive. No acceleration test runs. I guess they have not gotten hold of one yet. At least you can see it from different angles, the gauge cluster and the interior.

I’ve recorded the Motorweek show with the TSX. Motorweek said the rear of the TSX was a little generic looking. I actually like the rear of the current and the 09 TSX (I’ve always been kinda of a butt man).
I was a little disappointed they didn’t run any performance test. They only gave you estimated gas mileage of 20/28 mpgs for 5AT and 19/28 for 6MT.
The new TSX reminds me of the same problem Ford/Mercury is having. The all new TSX seems more of an upgraded Accord trim levels instead of an all new vehicle unique to North America. At least offer the old TL 3.2L engine as an option!! The TSX 201hp engine compared to the 190hp Accord engine doesn’t seem to be a smart move on Acura part unless they are trying to increase Accord sales.

They were pretty enthusiastic about the driveability....
I have been poo-poohing the new dash, but I have to concede that I didn't like that so many primary controls (climate) were soft-keys on the NAVI. Here, they've restored real buttons for such things.

Overall, they did give it a good review. I'm not sold on the car, however. I like that they've upgraded a few things that people complained about (iPod integration that displays track and artist names, for instance), but the center console looks too busy. There are waaaaay too many buttons and that knob is hideous!
Cadillac is supposed to be working on a BTS, a CTS baby brother, for 2009. If that's the case, I think I've found my new car. I just couldn't pass up a RWD car with a V6, 263hp, the fit and finish of a Cadillac (the CTS is impressive!), and a price that will be very competitive!

Everytime I see the rear of the new TSX, they should've made the rear taillights a little longer and fill out the gap between the license plate and the taillights section.
But, since I know this is just a rebadged Euro Accord, they didn't because in Europe since the license plates are wider than the USA/Canadian plates Honda just left it like that with the gap.
Actually they did the same case on the 1st gen TSX too.

The TSX is a nice looking car. Probably looks better in person. Its a shame that Acura didn't add a bigger engine or add some other minor features (keyless entry), I mean a friggin Nissan Rogue has keyless entry?
They missed the mark on the engine. I know with the $4/gallon approaching, this TSX looks like a commuter's dream machine...and has me thinking...just because of the gas mileage savings..and long commute.

I think you mean push-button start.

I believe you're thinking of "keyless remote entry." Keyless entry is a system I've seen on a Mazduh where you walk up and the proximity of the fob automagically unlocks the doors. Walk away, and the car locks itself. It also had keyless ignition. I thought it was a bit disconcerting, but certainly "Spaceman Spiff" material.
