11 TSX CBP cleared headlights before/after

Hey guys,

As you may have noticed (from the other thread) I decided to have my headlights cleared. With my oven being too small in my apartment and not being familiar with the process I opted to have someone else do it. That someone else was ecko508 who did an awesome job.

Here is the before:

Once we took the bumper off and removed the lights the car had a unique look:

Note the bumper must be protected no matter what so a nice blanket does the trick

After about 12-15 minutes in the oven it was time to pull apart the lights. Which can be seen here. Sorry I didn't get more (in the process) photos it was enough to keep track of everything AND stay out of the way from the pro.

Finally after pulling the lenses apart, removing the amber and putting everything back together (including the bumper) the TSX was amberless, as seen here.

So there you have it, certainly not a mod for just anyone to dive into. Make sure you have GOO GONE at the ready and be patient. I am happy I paid someone else to handle this task.. and if you hate seeing your baby in pieces, don't watch.

If you live in the Boston area or will be around be sure to hit up ecko508, he did an amazing job.. and even helped me install new blinker bulbs (V-LEDs), daytime running light LEDs and 6000K BlindingHID lights. Oh and we removed the resonator to prepare for a CAI install. All in a days work.

Thanks for reading.
Matt

Thanks for the review matt. Your car looked sweet once it was all done! Anything else you need let me know, besides the CAI,TB spacer and 3000k HID fogs which we will be doing this week at some point . Anyone else who needs anything in the boston area feel free to hit me up! BTW im totally jealous of your High res. navi screen and the 6000k HID bulbs which i ordered as soon as you left

the silver fog light accents go better without the amber reflectors. the car flows better now. the 09/10 dont have the silver so it doesnt look as complete a package as this does
