While I’m normally not a fan of Vossens I will say that these look infinitely better than the ugly stock wheels.

The body kit should be factory for ASpecs. Simply a money grab.

Well, there is no free lunch. If the A-spec comes with body kit, the MSRP will go up accordingly, and this higher price will put off even more buyers.

The free lunch statement is a cop out. The price is already increased to be an ASpec, an "appearance" package. In comparison with the 1G, the 2G lacks the exterior visual distinction against the other models in the lineup. If that's my opinion, fine. This is a forum full of Acura enthusiast who know the differences, but takes someone who doesn't care about Acura and ask them to point out the differences, they will be hard pressed looking at the exterior. For Acura to make you pay more than what you already paid to get that "appearance" is frankly, insulting.

Best looking 2G yet. This how it should look from the factory.

Looks awesome!! What are the wheel and tire specs? They look like 20s just wondering about width, offset, and tire size.

Front and rear are both 20x9? +35 offset
I'm looking for 19 x 9 or 9,5 in front and 19 x10 in rear. Want to get a good offset so it flush against the fender well

Hey guys! New guy here and very excited to say i ordered a Type S however it is not coming with your side skirts . I would love to know where I can order them, Price, self install or if you paid a body shop to do it for you, how much? I have seen these installed on an Apex blue on YouTube but they list no links to where i can pick these up in Platinum White Pearl. Thanks!

Before and after black chrome emblem install on the back. Installing the Acura symbol was a real pain. You have to remove the painted plastic rear panel that houses the emblem and backup camera to do this. The panel is held on by a bunch of fragile clips and a strip of double sided tape along the bottom. Not a fun job.

Looks really clean. Was there a lot of residue that had to be removed under the old emblems? Any tips? Worried I will have to do some minor detail work but just had the entire car ceramic coated a few weeks ago

The old emblems did leave some residue, but it comes off easily. I poured a few cups of hot water over the emblem I was removing. Heat will loosen up the adhesive. Once the adhesive was heated up, I wedged a flexible plastic body-filler spreader between the emblem and the paint to scrape the emblem off. You can also use dental floss, but that can hurt your fingers. The plastic spreader worked great and didn't scratch/scuff the paint.

Carnage719 - Your logic is not reality. Acura has priced the A-spec package to comprehend the items that are included in the A-spec upgrade (materials, plus installation, plus markup). If they added additional components to the package then the pricing would be higher as Edward pointed out. Pricing has little to do with "whether or not someone can tell the difference between a base model and the A-spec package" it involves the incremental cost of the components, the cost to install on the assembly line or at the dealership, plus markup. You might argue about the VALUE of the A spec package, but that's an entirely different discussion.
