Zenetti Five owners...some questions for ya!

Hey folks,

Well, I am pretty sure I am going to purchase the Zenetti Five wheels in Chrome, 19 x 8 (45 offset) with 235/35/19 tires very soon. I know some members have this wheel on their 2nd Gen's and they do not rub, even with a slight drop like my car has. I was curious if anyone could comment on the following questions regarding this wheel.

1. Are you using hub centric rings. If not, do you vibrate even with a good balance?

2. Do the stock lugnuts work with this wheel.

3. Do the stock center caps fit this wheel

4. How is the quality of the chrome in your opinion.

5. Any other issues you are having?

I got a quote for $285 for these brand new, and I'm waiting on one more source before I decide to buy new or a used set.

with a 19x8 wheel and a 45 offset, with a 235 tire, I would say your gonna rub if your dropped any significance, I would try a 225 . I dont have Zenetti fives but Im guessing the stock lugs wouldnt work, and the stock center caps wont work either. I would suggest getting some locking lugs if you get them, by the way ive had 3 different sets of rims on my TL, and have never used a hubcentric rings/.

Your TL will prolly be slower with these wheels though b/c they are not very light.

Yeah, I'm already prepared for that. I got chrome OEM wheels now and there is a slight difference in acceleration. I'm sure the 19 chrome will add even more weight. I plan on doing a brake upgrade with better rotors and pads to help deal with the extra weight. I'm not into racing or quarter mile times, so that's not a big deal to me. My car will still be plenty fast for my taste ;-)

No doubt. I'll stomp on someone every once in a while just to feed my speed ego, but that's rare. I'm into chillin and havin my ride look type, but it will eat up some V6's with ease should it want to!

There is a guy selling some Zenetti's in the black market, but they are $1500 not including the shipping, probably around $200 I would imagine for shipping. He's in New York and I'm in Colorado. So that would be a grip! I got quotes for $285 for new chromes here in Denver and I'm waiting for my manager hookup at a wheel/tire shop to come back to give me a quote for new wheels/tires and then go from there. The guy in the black market has a really nice set with very few miles on them. But, if I can pay between $1500 and $1700 new for the package, I'd rather go that route to get the road hazard, free lifetime rotations/balance etc. His price in the black market is fair though, based on some other sites I've seen, but those aren't "hookup" prices..ya feelin me on dat?

Believe me, I will be postin hella pics once I get them suckas mounted on the ride. I think they will look hella good on my car with my exterior setups I got.

He has the same car as mine 02-03 TL Type S with the same drop..1.5" I have heard other 19 x 8 Zenetti owners not rubbing either that have drops, so I think worst case scenario, I may have to trim my fender tabs, but they say they don't rub at all...
