Question Will they fit??? ---aggressive fitment

I currently have 19x8.5" MRR Gt-1's with a 45 offset and a 235/35/19 tire. Car is dropped all the way down on coilovers no rubbing, Removed front linings and rolled fenders cut tabs etc.

QUESTION

Can I go 19x9.5"--45 offset all the way arround with a 225/35/19? I know its agrressive. Just want to make sure it will work.

thanks,

David

I think 225/35/19 is ok, but small.(I know it's only 10 less) When i had then tire size on my TL I had to watch out for every bump an pot hole on the road. B/c with one good hit it will cause a bubble on side wall on inner part of the tire. I had 2 bad Bubble on inner side wall within 3 month. I had 225 Toyo Proxes 4 on my TL an Lucky with my warranty I got to switch with little extra money. Also the weight of TL it's better off with 235 in front an 225 in rear. (less weight in rear area).

I think it'll fit. Be kinda close to hitting the strut maybe.

i never put my rear on my front to see if that would work, im gonna say that it would hit the strut or arm, if your ordering wheels i would go with a 9" max for the front you could run a 225 or a 215, might work tho

i don't think that will work in the back at all, not without fender mods. Also, the fronts may rub on the inner suspension components. But then again, I've seen some crazy stuff in recent years with TL's and wheel setups...

i think you need a lower offset that +45. if the rim isn't coming out, then it'll touch the strut. try something like a +30's...

it should clear.

but just to be safe. i'd put a 5-7mm spacer just so you'll have inner clearance..

then, you'd have some slight poke up front but it'll fit.

for the rear..... I would add a 10mm spacer.. fold or shave the rear fenders, then the bumper tabs and so forth.. might want to do a slight pull and run some stretch.

probably 225/40/18 and slight negative camber.

^

i have 18x9 +35 in the rear..

running some neg camber.. rolled rear and trimmed the tabs. its like.. almost flush with the neg...

for fronts.. you'd probably have to do the same.. roll and trim the lining.

Question----Can I TUCK all the way arround with 19/8.5 with 45 offset and 225 tire all the arround or 225 up front and 215 in back...? I test fit a 15mm spacer up front but it looked kind of sketchy... I wanna slam all the away arround.

maybe 15 mm spacer in front and 10mm in the back?

yo david did you ever figure out what to do?

i had a similar set up on my CL but i totaled it and plan on putting it on a TL when i buy it.

here was my set up:
FRONT: 19x8.5, +45 offset, 245/30/19 tires
REAR: 19.9.5, +45 offset, 275/30/19 tires

on my cl, only the rear tires rubbed and i had to roll the fender and trim the side of my inner rear bumper that was rubbing/cutting into the tire when i went over big dips with a full car.

also, did you ever have any rubbing with the 235/35/19 tires even though your car was slammed? thanks!

That's what the BANNED in his user title means. So I doubt you will be getting a response.
