Will Rays G-Games 77F 18" fit??

Currently I have seen a set of Rays G-Games 77F 18 X 7.5 42mm offset with Falken 452 Tires 225/45/18 locally for sale.

Will those wheels fit on 2002-03 TL w/o rubbing issue? p.s. I do not want to cut tabs or roll fender...etc.

I have Tein S.S. setup with one finger gap all around on my OEM 17" TL-S rims.

Thanks in advance.

WHeels would be fine, but the tire is a lil beefy. A 225/40 would fit better. If its cheap, go for it. LOL why don't you wanna cut tabs, it takes 10 min. Good luck finding oversize wheels that don't require that.

7.5" +42 with 225/45 will drastically increase your chances of rubbing. Switch to 225/40 to reduce the risk. For more peace of mind, 7.5" +50 with 225/40 will fit with no rubbing whatsoever, even with the bumper tabs in tact.

Heres a pic I found (not my car) But I modified it for you. Circled in red is the area cut out to"cut tabs". The area in blue is an extra piece I had to remove due to my low offset and agressive drop. In yellow, is the lip of the fender. This is what you "roll", you roll it flat with the body so it doesnt stick out, making more room for clearance. I also had to do that.

BTW, my setup is 19x8 +40, 225/35/19 dropped LOW on Tein SS

but if needed, how can u cut/roll the front fender? the fender lining depends on the lip on the fender....most likely ill need to do so since im going 18x8 +45mm with 225/40....

You wont need to do the front, hardly anybody ever has to. Mine are 19x8 +40 with a 225/35 and I clear in the front fine.

Thanks a lot 02type-s
now I got the idea...

Do you think I need to cut tabs/ roll fender if I got a set of 19" instead? 19X8 48 offset with 225/35/R19 tires?

No prob, and that setup would prolly allow you to not have to cut tabs.

Having the tires being 225/45, you risk having rubbing issues but only a minimum if even.
