What's better Mid tires or low profile tires?
Which tires last longer and better to drive with? I want to get new rims with low profile tires but I don't know if they last long. If not, I will just buy tires for my stock TL-P wheels because they aren't that bad. My tires are bald already and I am trying to narrow down what I want.

I recommend finding some type S wheels.I know it is hard to find. For ride quality purposes, I recommend getting tires for your TLp wheels.I know first hand that if you go with a low pro tire it is more sensitve to the road. Let me know if your around LA area, I'll take yuo for a ride in my car to show you how sensitive they are.

The illusion of a larger gap is due to more wheel surface and less sidewall.

i was just under the assumption that he was keeping a 16" rim and just going with a lower profile tire.
