Arrow What type of Pirelli is best?

I had Pirelli P6 4 Season Tires on my 2003 Acura TL and the tread is worn down. I am looking to replace them with a more higher end Pirelli tire like maybe the Nero... So my only question was what Pirelli tire is best designed for the 03 TL suspension? My budget ranges from $400-500.

I'm running Pirelli PZero Nero M+S on my stock TL-S wheels. I've had them on for about three months and they've been great. Even though they're wider than recommended, I haven't experienced any of the downsides other AZ members have had with 235's. Maybe it's due to the PZero Nero's very stiff sidewall.

Anyway, I highly recommend the PZero Neros. They're a little higher than your budget though. Cost me $720 for the set from Discount Tire/America's Tire.

The Pirelli P-zero Nero, Bridgestone Potenza Pole Position, and Yokohama Avid S.4's are all awesome M+S tires for the TL.

Give TireRack.com a peak:

Top choice AND price
Pirelli PZero Nero M+S
Bridgestone Potenza 960AS

90% alternatives at 80% of the price
Continental ContiExtreme
Yokohama Avid W4S

85% alternative at 65% of the price
Kumho ASX

I've had Avon Tech 550AS as well. Heavy but better than average tire for $100ea. I would NOT go to 235 on stock rims.

the best tires are Michelin Pilot Sport 2 or Pilot Sport A/S. Then the Pirelli PZero Nero. I have many sets of Pirelli P6 and they all suck, but they will last a summer. I work at an Audi dealership and P6s are standard on a lot of there cars and they wear out way to fast. Do not buy these new. I get used ones for free. I do also like the Continental ContiExtremes.

I prefer the Pirelli calendars - the ones with the naked ladies to the tires any day.....
