what is the OEM tire size for the 02 Type S

what is the OEM tire size for the 02 Type S

i cant find this answer using the search feature, sorry for the newb question.

just look at the tire......its says it right on it.......i believe that the TLs has 205 50 17........

here i did a search to be sure and thats right......205 50 17 TLs.....205 60 16 TLp

yup stock is 215/50/17. for some odd reason this size is pretty expensive. 225/45 or 235/45 is cheaper. im thinking of going with 225/45, mph will be off only 1.4 mph. the speedo will read faster so i would be going 1.4 mph slower.

Don't forget that your odometer will also be off....

Stick with 225/50x17

If you check tire manufacturers' Web sites, 225/45 requires a wider rim than the 6.5" on the '02 TL-S. Stick with 225/50-17.
