I am going to go ahead and say that I wouldn't put those wheels on my car, and no 20"'s.

20's unless done right look ghetto :bling: Those rims look kinda thin spoked too for a lux sedan. Just my opinion though.

I wouldn't go 20" to me I would do no bigger than 19". I would go all black to try and get the murdered out look, but those probably wouldn't be to bad.

19s are the biggest I would ever go on a 2g TL. 20s look too big. Especially at stock ride height

do you guys think i should try to keep the black and chrome combo or just go with one or the other, and if you think chrome should i try to get a style like these 2? and im guessing that i should get 18's so that it doesnt look like i have truck wheels?

Go black if you want, just not bigger than 18/19's and make sure you lower your car or it will look like it belongs in compton. The spoke design on the wheels above looks good and will cover your brakes more than the other ones, unless you have a big brake kit and want to show it off.

that looks very very bad on that tl !
20's on a 2g tl like the above post stated = horrible!
looks like a tank...if you want a suv look just buy one, then put some 22's or 24's lol

If you insist on chrome, 19s are the only way to pull it off with a wheel like that. 18s look best in a performance/race wheel only. Really, 19s are the perfect size for the 2g TL.

I think it would look nice with a drop.

IMHO, 20S CAN look good if done right, but i've seen TLs areound here, all on 20's, all big shiny chrome and totally hideous, so my taste for a TL on 20s have soured a bit.

If you're willing to roll fenders, or deal with a harsh ride and jacked up look (assuming you're not dropped), then go for it. Remember it's always you who has the last word, Everyone else is just giving suggestions, but very good ones might I add.

It's official, your opinion is extremely biased lol... no offense. I have seen some 18s that look better than most 19s on the 2G TL. The only way I'll get 19s with the mandatory rubber band tires is when I get my air suspension. Other than that, you can't go as low as I want with 19s.

i dont really care about the ground clearance, im not really into lowering my car all that much just enough to make the gap betweent the tire and fender a lil smaller, i like the big wheel look, and heres a good example of how not all 20's look terrible

Better, but still not very good either. 20s are just too big for our cars.

this thread = absolute failure.

the original rims you chose suck, 20's suck, that car with those retarded fender vents suck... im noticing a pattern here. your car will probably fall in similar categories at this rate.....

Which tire(s) has ripped ? If it is the front, the inner side wall may be scrapping the suspension components under full lock turns. This means the rim offset is wrong for the car.

if you want 20's get 20's i like them because like you said it gets rid of the gap spacing i seen some nice 20's on 2Gtl's with suspension locks so they don't rub when you hit a bump i say 20's are the limit i've seen 22's on a tl and i wanted to smack the owner for doin something so dumb 18's-20's are all ok for me whatever you prefer it's your whip just don't throw no 20" badge on there
