What do you think of this setup

Hi Guys

So the roads in Ontario, Canada are shit and im doing a huge sound system in my trunk that consists of 4 10" subs so there is going to be a lot of weight there. I was thinking of this setup and was wondering what you guys think. I have 18" rims right now and just want to lower it a bit like a 1.5 in the front and 1 in the back.

Please post what you think of this setup:

B&G SPRINGS B22041009 Lowering Kit: 1997-1999 Acura CL; Sport Springs or Eibach Pro Kit

KYB SHOCKS K11341257 GR2 SHOCK Front

KYB SHOCKS K11341258 GR2 SHOCK Rear

won't fit?

you'd need 01-03 CL or 99-01 02-03 TL or 98-02 Accord.

Okay. Is this a good setup and it will still have OEM ride quality? Which springs should I go with? Is it true if the drop is 2inches you only get about 1.5 inches?

^ i dont' get your question..

if you want oem ride quality just stay stock..

anything you do with lowering, you'll have a slightly stiffer ride than stock..

most closest too oem you'll get it s-tech, H&R sport and Eibach pro-kits.. stiffnes is very very slightly increased.. not soo much you'd notice...

with those, you'd have to get aftermarket shocks.. those will slightly stiffen up your suspension as well.

I have to replace my shocks because they are starting to go thats why I am looking into the KYB GR2 shocks. Which lowering springs would be best for me? I dont want to go to low in the back because my trunk is very heavy.

Get coilovers so you can adjust the rear a bit higher so it evens out with those 4 10" subs you gonna be putting in the trunk.

One question though, why not 4 10" subs?

the amount of money you put in having a spring/shock combo = basics or F2 type-1
