Want to lower

Right now i have stock suspension on my TL. I wanted to drop it not too low, but just right. My vibe from doing a little of research would be to go with the H&R Sport Springs 1.75 front 1.5 rear.

Now my question is if i were to buy those, how would i get them installed? I glanced through the DIY and thought it looked complicated as hell. (keep in mind i'm no car expert )

Also, what do those springs go for about? And if i were to get a shop to install them for me how much do you guys think that would be??

Either DIY or the shop. If you don't feel comfortable doing it yourself, then shops typically charge about 2 hours for that type of job. Just shop around and find out their hourly rates.

Those springs are about $240 new.

in essence you are just replacing the factory springs just with ones that are a little shorter,
but anyways by the way it sounds is that you have not done an alot of diy, so it might be easier just to let a shop do it, especially considering the stock springs are still under quite a bit of tension (especially fronts) even when the shocks are fully extended, even the new ones will have tension on them once installed with the shock fully extended

also this would be the time to also do your shocks while they are already out

Following the DIY changing springs is actually pretty easy. Just take your time and every thing will be ok. Plus you get the satisfaction of knowing you did it.

As for shocks, is it a priority i get new ones? What am i risking if i dont? And are Koni shocks a good choice?

If your on original shocks now they will wear out faster with lowering springs (if they arent already) Getting them now will save you money from having to change them out in the future (have to take your stock ones out to lower it)
Koni yellows are one of if not the best along with Bilstien
