very very n00b in this area of the car...

like the title says...im a n00b in this dept. i know nothing bout tires n wheels...just a little bit of suspension stuff...these r my favorite rims... http://www.modacar.com/products///05ZT ...as u can see...under models its only limited to a few type of cars...do u guys think this will fit on my TL-P??...thx...n mayb can some1 give me pointers as to what i need to know for getting rims n tires in the future...thx again...

Offset on those wheels are too low. 17x7.5 +40

That means they ain't gonna fit.

Remember the stock wheel specs for a TL-P is 16x6.5 +55 offset.

You need to try to stay under 8" wide and at least have a +45 offset. Some have rubbing issues, some don't. You will still most likely rub with a +45 offset. Ideally, you want a wheel with at least a +48 or higher offset to have the wheel tuck inline with the car, but not rub on the fender. Our stock wheels are +55 offset, which is very high, so you need to use the search function or some google searching to really read up on the different aspects of wheels. There is alot to be learned and by doing research, you will end up with the best solution to avoid future headaches.

hey z3ro its a lil off topic but im curious how ya 01 tl-p hit 154/160ish with basically the only engine mod ya have is a aem cai and i have a 00 tl-p same car basically and I have also only a aem cai as far as engine mods and my car is governed to 149mph ?
